We’ll probably be run out of the South, but we think this is an improvement on the Mint Julep. The lemon tames the mint so it does not overwhelm the drink as it can in a julep.

The Caipiroska is the Russian counterpart of the famed Brazilian Caipirinha, using Vodka instead of Cachaca as the base. It is relatively easy to make, potent, delicious and a regular feature at any party worth its salt.
