It is strange how men of the cloth have gained a reputation for being enthusiastic about the good, material things in life. Even Rudyard Kipling wrote about ‘brandy for the parson’. It goes to show that spirituality is no barrier to spirits.
INGREDIENT:
4-6 cracked ice cubes
Dash of lemon juice
1 measure white rum
1 tsp red wine
Pinch of caster sugar
METHOD:
1. Put the cracked ice cubes into the cocktail shaker.
2. Dash the lemon juice over ice, pour in the white rum and red wine and add the pinch of sugar.
3. Shake vigorously until a frost forms.
4. Strain into a chilled wine glass.
