Originating in the American south and using some of the best American whiskey, this classic can also be made with vodka, gin or other spirits.
INGREDIENT:
1 measure whiskey
1 measure cherry brandy
1 measure red vermouth
Ice
Orange juice, to top up.
METHOD:
1. Shake the first three ingredients over the ice until frosted.
2. Strain into a medium- size glass and top up with orange juice.
