Cat’s Eye Recipe

A cat’s Eye is many things – apart from what a cat sees with – including a semi-precious stone and a stripy marble. Now, it’s a highly potent cocktail, as pretty as a gemstone and certainly more fun than playing marbles.

INGREDIENT:

4-6 cracked ice cubes

2 measures gin

1 ½ measure dry vermouth

½ measure kirsch

½ measure triple sec

½ measure lemon juice

½ measure water

METHOD:

1. Put the cracked ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Pour the gin, vermouth, kirsch, triple sec, lemon juice and water over the ice.

2. Shake vigorously until a frost forms. Strain into a chilled goblet.
