This cocktail always inspires elaborate decoration- sometimes so much so that you can be in danger of stabbing your nose on a cocktail stick when you are trying to drink it. If you want to go completely over the top with decorations – and why not – serving the drink with one or two long, colorful straws might be a good idea.
Cocobelle
If you have a steady hand, this drink can be served with pretty swirls of color up the sides. Youngsters will no doubt be keen to help you with this one!
Cinnamon Tea
If you like herbal or fruit teas you will enjoy this spicy, citrusy tea. It’s also good for cold.
Cherry Kiss
A refreshing and almost calorie-free cocktail, perfect for dieting or simply for one of those non-alcohol occasions.
Carrot Chill
Carrots have a really sweet flavor, especially very young raw carrots. The juice makes a great combination with the peppery watercress.
Banana Coffee Break
Thanks to the coffee, this is very adult-tasting smoothie-style cocktail. In warm weather, it makes excellent mid-morning pick-me-up.
Baby Love
Avocado is so luxuriously smooth when blended that this cocktail risks needing a spoon, especially if you like it too much.
Little Prince
Sparkling apple juice is a particularly useful ingredient in non-alcoholic cocktails because it adds flavor and color, as well as fizz. Try using it as a substitute for champagne in non-alcoholic versions of such cocktails as Buck’s fizz
Jersey Lily
This clear, golden refresher is named for the Edwardian beauty, actress Lillie Langtry (1952-1929). Whether the most famous of her lovers, the prince of Wales (later king Edward Vll), enjoyed it too, history does not record.
Star Spangled Spanner
Although only half measures of each spirit are used, there are seven layers of them, so this is quite a potent cocktail. It is probably fortunate that after getting your tongue around a couple, you hand will become too unsteady to pour more.
