San Joaquin Punch Recipe

A fabulous bubbly punch enriched with brandy-soaked Californian dried fruits.

INGREDIENT:

1 tbsp raisins or chopped prunes

6 tsp brandy

300ml/10 fl oz sparkling white wine or champagne, chilled

300ml/10 fl oz white cranberry and grape juice

Ice

METHOD:

1. Mix the dried fruit and brandy in a small bowl and leave to soak for 1-2 hours.

2. In a jug, mix the sparkling wine, juice and brandy-soaked fruit.

3. Pour into ice-filled glass.
