As a rule, classic cocktails based on vodka were intended to provide the kick of an alcoholic with no tell-tale signs on the breath and they were usually fairy simple mixes of fruit juices, sodas and other non-alcoholic flavourings . by contrast, contemporary cocktails based on vodka often include other aromatic and flavorsome spirits and liqueurs, with vodka adding extra strength.
INGREDIENT:
4-6 cracked ice cubes
2 measures vodka
1 measure Strega
½ measure orange juice
METHOD:
1. Put the cracked ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.
2. Pour the vodka, Strega and orange juice over ice and shake vigorously until a frost forms.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
